The Perfect Plan
When looking at the death of Jesus, one must consider, the reason why He had to die.. We must first look at the fact that we are all sinners ad because we are sinners, we are separated from God. God desires relationship with us but because of sin, we are unable to be with God. God cannot and will not be in the presence of sin. Because of sin, our destiny is set for hell.
The good news is God has an answer to this problem. That answer is Jesus. This brings me to the doctrine of atonement. This is the doctrine concerning the reconciliation of God and humankind as it was accomplished through the life, suffering and death of Jesus Christ. The atonement is the work of God in Jesus Christ on the cross whereby He cancelled the debt of our sin, appeased His HOLY wrath against us and won for us all the benefits of salvation. The death of Jesus Christ was necessary because God would not show a just regard for His glory if He swept sins under the rug with no recompense. Meaning thereneeded to be a sacrifice and Jesus was that perfect sacrifice. He lived a sinless life. He was 100% man and 100% God known as a HYPOSTATIC UNION. In other words the death of Jesus Christ was necessary to vindicate the righteousness of God in justifying the ungodly by faith. It would be unrighteous to forgive sinners as though their sin were insignificant, when in fact it is an infinite insult against the value of God's glory. Therefore Jesus bears the curse, which was due to our sin so that we can be justified and the righteousness of God can be vindicated. JESUS became the lying, steeling, cheating, person for you and for me.. He had no sin but became the worse of us in our place. It should've been us on the cross for the sin that is in our heart. It should've been us beating and crucified for the things that we have done outside of God's will. But thanks to Jesus, He took our place and received the full punishment and the full wrath of God in order for us to live, in order for us to be born again, in order for us to be in relationship with Him once more. It was all part of God's plan. We as believers should line up with the Word of God (SOLA SCRIPTURA) and truly understand what Jesus did for us on that old rugged cross.
The need for the Death of Christ we will find in Romans 3 10-12. For all have sinned and falling short of the Glory of God as it says in verse 23 of Romans 3. But also in Romans 6:23 it tells us that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is in Jesus that you will have life. You must be born again and receive Jesus. The importance of His death is necessary in order for us to live. You must receive God's gift to us which is in His Son Jesus. The bible tells us in John 3 that no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again. The question by Nicodemus was asked, "How can a man be born when he is old? Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb." the reply from Jesus was "no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. This is exciting because we now have access to the kingdom of God through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Let me explain.
The bible says "They that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth." God is a spirit. The enemy Satan himself is a spirit. Man is flesh or born of water. So now how can God make this scripture true? God now has to become man in order to make this part of the scripture true. God now sends His Son Jesus to be become man and now He is born of water. When it is said born of water, one must understand that the natural birth of a woman represents being born of water. Once you as mankind being already born of water accept Jesus you are now born of the Spirit.
You see the devil will never be born of water giving the devil no access to the kingdom. We should be excited that God planned a perfect escape out of sin through His Son Jesus and there is nothing the devil can do about it. Once you accept the birth, the life, the death and the resurrection of Jesus you have accepted eternal life with Him in the kingdom.
